Edgar Award winner Art Taylor shares some thoughts on short mystery fiction, touching on character, plot, and the shape of a short story, and welcomes your questions about the challenges you’re facing in writing your own stories.
Art Taylor is the author of The Boy Detective & The Summer of ’74 and Other Tales of Suspense. His short fiction has won the Edgar, Agatha, Anthony, Derringer, and Macavity Awards. He teaches at George Mason University. www.arttaylorwriter.com
