T. Jefferson Parker is the author of 30 novels, including Silent Joe and California Girl, both of which won the Edgar Award for best mystery. His new novel, WILD INSTINCT, from Minotaur, will be out in November. When not writing, Jeff likes to walk his dog, catch fish in Baja, hike in San Diego and settle in for the evening with a good book or a Padres game.

Matt Coyle is the author of the bestselling Rick Cahill crime series. Matt knew he wanted to write crime fiction as a young teen after his father gave him The Simple Art of Murder by Raymond Chandler. His books have won the Anthony, Shamus, Lefty, and Authors on the Air Book of the Year Awards, among others. He was named the 2021 Mystery Writer of the Year by the San Diego Writers Festival and received the 2024 Odin Award from the San Diego Writers and Editors Guild. Matt lives in Southern California with his yellow Lab Shamus, where he is writing a new crime fiction story.
