The Sisters in Crime chapters in San Diego, Orange County, LA, and San Francisco are proud to announce the beginning of their Sizzling Summer Speaker series. These are monthly virtual meetings with well-known authors that these chapters jointly present. On May 11, Robert Dugoni will talk about his new book, A Killing On The Hill, as well as the challenges of forging a long and successful writing career. Carl Vonderau, from the San Diego chapter, will interview him.

Dugoni is an Amazon Charts bestselling author and has reached more than ten million readers worldwide. He is well known for his Tracy Crosswhite police procedural series, his Charles Jenkins espionage series, the David Sloane legal thriller series, and several standalone novels. The Washington Post named his nonfiction exposé, the Cyanide Canary a Best Book of the Year. Dugoni has won many awards and his books have been translated into more than thirty languages. Associated Press calls him “one of the best crime writers in the business.”
