Join San Diego Partners in Crime as we welcome Deborah Larkin, who will discuss her debut book, A LOVELY GIRL: The Tragedy of Olga Duncan and the Trial of One of California’s Most Notorious Killers, (Pegasus Crime 2022).
The book received a Starred Review in Publishers Weekly and was named one of the best nonfiction crime books by CrimeReads in October 2022.
Debby will talk about her nine years researching and writing her true crime memoir, as well as discuss her journey to find an agent and a traditional publisher, no easy fete for a first-time author with no platform or previous writing credits. A LOVELY GIRL is currently in development for a limited series on a streaming platform.
