Award-winning author Corey Lynn Fayman will discuss the research, writing and hair-pulling that went into his new historical mystery The Esmeralda Goodbye, recently selected as an Editor’s Pick by Booklife magazine. He’ll focus on the challenges he encountered, as well as the rewards of writing a crime novel set in smalltown America in the 1950s.

Corey Lynn Fayman was born in La Jolla, CA in the same hospital where Raymond Chandler died. His creative career includes work as a musician, songwriter, sound designer, educational technologist, and multimedia developer. He is the author of the Rolly Waters mystery series, including the San Diego Book Awards Geisel Award winner Ballast Point Breakdown.
